Blossoms in Bloom die piecing

Blossom

I used the Blossoms in Bloom bundle for this card and pieced various colors into the diecut for a cool look. GreenThumbStampers.com

First you will need to die cut a full image of the die.
What you want to do is run it through your die cutting machine and then flip it over and carefully lift the clear plate so that the pieces stay in place.

Then take a piece of Glad Press n' Seal and put that over the die cuts and rub your fingers around on it to get the pieces to stick to it.

You can lift all the pieces off of the die now.

Take the detailed outline from the die off of the press n seal.

Play around with laying it on your card so you know where you want to cut it apart. OR you can glue the whole thing down onto the card front or white layer in this case.

Next you will want to lay various colored pieces onto the die and cut them out so that you have pieces to place into that detailed cutout that you just glued down.
I used some green for the leaves and some pinks for the flowers (yes, I did two different card colors)
Run that die through the machine and do the same thing you did before. Flip it over and then put the press n seal on the areas you have cutouts.

Once you have all your pieces cut out that you want to use, you can begin to put them into the detailed diecut.

With the pieces being on the press n seal, they should remain in the pattern of the die from where they were originally. You can use that as your guide for placement.

This card I am recommending liquid glue or the double sided sheets so that they are easy to apply.

Just take a piece off of the press n seal and adhere it to your card.

You can see in my card that I did the leaves with green and then the misty moonlight in other areas as well as some seaside spray. I left some areas white and filled one in with the night of navy.
This is a really neat technique, but is a tad fussy! You will love love love your end result though.
