Mountain Air Birthday

The reversible stamp set, Mountain Air, from Stampin' UP! creates a beautiful scene with ease.

This card uses a Misty Moonlight card base.
There is another layer at 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 of DSP
You will mount the image on 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 black
The image is stamped on whisper white 5 x 3 3/4

Stamp the detailed mountain image in Night of Navy about an inch from the top.

Clean the stamp and flip it over to the solid image side.

Ink the solid side in Sahara Sand, stamp off on a piece of scrap paper and then stamp it over the mountains but a tad off center so the image shows in the background of the mountains.

The next stamp is the detailed side of the tree line.

Ink that up in Garden Green and stamp it down at the base of the mountains.

Clean it off and flip it over to the solid side.

Ink the solid side in Pear Pizzazz.
Turn the stamp around so the tree line is toward you.

I used one of the images from the My Meadow stamp set to create the lake, but you could also water color one in there or leave it out.

That was stamped in Balmy Blue

Using Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz stamp pine trees in the lower corners. If you didn't put the lake in you could stamp along the whole bottom with the trees.
Be sure to stamp them at different heights.

To finish in the white area around the lake I used the detailed side of the tree line and inked up small portions of the bottom edge with Soft Sea Foam and stamped that around in the white space.

I finished the scene by dragging an aqua painter dabbed in Seaside Spray along the sky area to give the effects of clouds.

Mount this piece on the black.

To finish the card I wrapped some white bakers twine around the image and made a sentiment banner that I put on dimensionals.

I then put dimensionals on the black layer and placed it on the front of the card.

You will also want to put a white layer inside since it will be harder to write on the blue.
