The Bikes & Blooms kit has some pretty unusual elements this month.  The bikes in the die cuts are quite large, which made it trickier for me to try and make the alternates.  I like how they turned out.  It's getting harder and harder to design alternates, actually we are getting more and more kits that don't need alternates!  Back eons ago the designs needed some help, but man are they so nice now!!  I might have to shake up my thought process for alternates and just stick with the design from the kit and see what I can do with that vs making something different.  Who knows, I just know the kits are much nicer and I'm still a subscriber!  If you've been away or haven't tried Paper Pumpkin, you really should get a small subscription and give it a try.  You can skip months so get a 3 month prepaid and just get one every few months so you can see a variety of seasons and such.  It really has become a great treat to get in my mailbox each month.  I used to have a group of subscribers that got together each month and I'd make some alternates and we'd get together and do that.  I think that would be so fun to do again, even if it's just to put them together as is if you don't want alternates.  Now to find subscribers!!!
