The week of the One Sheet Wonder!

Hello everyone.  I'm glad you are here!    Life has been so crazy lately that we are all out n about on the internet, since we can't really get out anywhere else!  I am glad you stopped on by my blog page!!

How have you been keeping busy?  Probably doing some cupboard cleaning and odd projects, if you are not still working.  My grateful thanks to those of you that are still working to keep us safe and supplied with our essentials!  I saw our local grocery store has not only stopped all item returns, they have stopped bottle returns!  Here in MI we have a $.10 deposit on all carbonated beverages.  That could add up to be a lot of cans/bottles waiting to be returned by the end of the month, considering our alcohol sales have not plumeted!!  Now would be a good time for that fundraiser group to put together a plan of attack on how to cash in on all those returns that will be waiting!!!  Reid's class of 2012 did a couple of big can drives and got a lot of money!!  They posted flyers at houses telling them when they'd be back and they could set them out if they wanted.  They set up groups to canvas those neighborhoods and then go back to pick them up....cha ching!!  Now who needs $$??  The seniors of 2021, church groups, shelters??  It's a thought people!!  Could be worth $100s!!

I've been keeping busy the last week with my One Sheet Wonder design.  I decided to create a template, design 11 cards, then Facebook live the whole thing over several nights!  I'm on my final night tonight.  The last four cards!!  It has been very time consuming for me, but a lot of fun!  I created a Facebook group you can join to get the template and instructions.  Currently it is a public page but I am going to make it private next week then add the files.  The people that are group members will then have access to them whenever they are ready to make their own.  A couple of people are following along while I make the cards on the live video!  You can also use just an 81/2 x 11 piece of patterned paper and cut it to make the cards as well.  It's been a great project and I hope people find it fun and entertaining.  (here is a link to the GreenThumb Stampers- One Sheet Wonder FB group)
