I created the stripes in the background with reinkers and water. Pick up some of the colored water in the brush of the water painter and drag it across the paper. It is fast, easy and looks cool!
The large dahlia die was used and then sparkle added with the sizzix glaze. It looks so pretty in real life!
I made this card on my FB live too. It was Heron Habitat debut. I stamped on watercolor paper and used the reinkers with some water to paint the scenery.
I created this card for my daughter. She just completed her PhD and was so excited to be able to read for fun again! I paper pieced the pj, blanket and pillows instead of coloring everything.
I needed a college graduation card and this was the perfect set to create what I needed for her party. I embossed waves on the white layer. I stamped the Oceanfront stamps and cut it out with an oval die and paper pieced her clothes. I fussy cut and popped it up on the front. The sentiment is heat embossed on black with white embossing powder.
Well, I thought I had the Garden Dies and didn't so I had to switch up this card design. I went into the archives to find enough stamps to do what I have the vision of. Not all are Stampin' UP! but it still turned out fantastic. This fun fold was called a box card. When it's glued together it also looks like stairs so it might also be called a stair step card? I did measurements to fit A2 envelope.
Stampin' UP! hit it out of the park with The Waves of the Ocean paper, it's gorgeous! I love every one of the designs. I'm sad it didn't make it to the annual catalog but I did snag a couple of packs. I used A Good Man set for the image that I fussy cut and popped up on a piece of paper that I stamped with the rectangle from the Watercolor Shapes set. I carefully inked 1/3 of the stamp with three different colors of blue. I love how it turned out.
