Hey there!

I just wanted to drop in with a little note today!  I've been crazy busy coming up with designs for my card kits, stamp a stack, Paper Pumpkin and a girls retreat class.  I am having a ball with it, but I also need to figure out what I am going to do for World Card Making Day on Saturday.  I've had some grandios ideas that I just didn't have time to completely plan out.  Next year I need to start the master plan at the end of July and get all my ducks in a row.  This year I am going to have a few people over to the house and hopefully they'll let me film their projects for a live video throughout the day.  I'm also going to make a couple of things myself and finish out the day with a mystery stamping hour.  I'm looking forward to that as well.  Now to just get it all laid out and executed.

I hope you are all enjoying some great fall weather.  I know I am.  The trip up north to see my family last weekend was starting to show some color.  I'll have to make another trip soon to see it in full change.  There are some great spots along the way to see some large areas of trees.  I like fall a lot, ya know, the sweater weather and pumpkin everything.  Oh, and the crisp cool nights of needing extra blankets because you want the windows open still!  I've noticed myself also making a lot more fall themed cards than I normally have.  Maybe that because I am online more, or maybe just because I am doing more stamping?  Either way, I am liking them and hope you have been enjoying the ones I've shared.

Creativity is like a seed,
When nurtured,
It will bloom.

Inkspiration Post on Facebook

The card below is one I created for a post on Facebook today.  I've been giving a little inkspiration on Saturdays to help with creativity.  I really like how this one turned out.  You'll have to pop on over to GreenThumbStampers on Facebook to see the layout I found on Pinterst.  Yes, I use layouts that are already out there.  It takes me long enough to decide which one to use, I can't imagine the time if I tried to create my own!  Although, I have been playing around in my software program trying to create some!  Most of the time I'm most likely reinventing the wheel so I don't mind sharing layouts others have created.  It gives me more time to get inky.  Have a super weekend.  If you go to my FB page, make sure to share the post and you will be entered into the drawing for a kit of that card!

August??

Hey August!  Where did you go!?  I can't believe it is just about over!  I have to go back to work tomorrow, so of course today is just flying by!  It's just so unreal that this month is winding down.  I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know!

I just wanted to pop in with this card that I made for my sketch post last Saturday.  It's cute, and the corduroy buttons I had in the drawer sure add a little extra!  I'm not sure how well it would mail, but maybe I'll have to find out.
