Back to work.....
Monday is winding down and I'll be back to work tomorrow after a nice long vacation. Well, long for me. I normally don't take a week at a time. Sure did feel good to be off and I really enjoyed it. I've been trying to come up with some type of schedule for myself to start getting prepared for retirement (July 31st). It's still pretty willy-nilly but I'm jotting down a lot of things I want to work into the mix. I know it will all come in time, I just have to be patient.
I did make a trip to Ludington over the holiday, and saw Mom n Dad. Boy was it beautiful weather up there!! We only stayed a couple of days. I have spent part of the weekend cooking up some meals and a tad bit of the necessities (cooking isnt really a necessity when there's peanut butter in the house!). I did get all my cards ready for the June PP kit too, now to just nail down a date. I'll post that as soon as I have it. I also placed an order so I could get some bonus days coupons! It is items I needed and a few I just wanted so I figured some free money to spend in August, why not!! Pretty basic and slightly boring life, I know!! Man, was it relaxing though........

June 2019 PP Alternate 3a
This card was inspired by the watercolored note in the kit. It uses a few non SU stamps but I know the girls won't mind going rogue every now and again.

This is an alternate with some older stamps that I have that are not SU. I had two ideas that just fit so nicely with the watercolor looking card in the kit. I'll have these available for the ladies to use at my house if they want to recreate them.
