Darling Donkeys meets Green Thumb Stampers

Stampin' UP! has this adorable Darling Donkey set as part of the freebies for Sale A Bration this year. Oh aren't hey cute! Well, the Jill in me sees the snarky side of the cuties and I created this!

Start with a piece of white cut at 4 1/4 x 11"
Fold in half.

Cut a night of navy piece at 5 x 3 3/4"
Cut a balmy blue piece at 4 3/4 x 3 1/2"

Run the balmy blue piece through the embossing machine, I used the painted texture folder

Adhere the balmy blue and night of navy pieces together and then adhere that on the white base.

Cut one of the pearlized doilies in half. They will adhere to the balmy blue.

There is a piece of designer series paper that covers the front and they are layered under that with a portion peeking out the top and bottom.

The DSP is cut at 2 x 4 1/4"

I made a tag using a 2" strip of paper and then topped the tag off with the ornate tag topper punch. The length of the tag is about 3". You can stamp your donkey and then trim it off, either way works. You want the donkey closer to the top of the tag since "birthday" will go across the bottom of it.

Stamp the kicking donkey in black memento ink and then color it in with the gray granite stampin blends.

I used night of navy seam binding ribbon with a tad bit of bakers twine and made a bow at the top.
Put that on with dimensionals. Put it closer to the bottom of the card so you have room at the top for your words.

Using the Happiest of Birthdays set, stamp the "Wishing you the Happiest of Birthdays" sentiment in night of navy on white paper.
Use the "Happy BDay" stamp and ink that up too, you will need the "A" from that.

Using the Zany Zebra set, stamp the "Kick up your heels!" sentiment while you are at it.

Fussy cut the "Wishing" word out of the sentiment and put that on dimensionals. Place it in the upper left.
Then cut out "YOU" from that sentiment and put that at the top as well.
Now cut out the "A" and place that toward the center on the DSP. Do the same with the word "KICK"
Finally cut the word "Birthday" from the big sentiment and place that down at the bottom.

Stamp the inside of the card with "It's Your Day! enjoy it" from the Happiest of Birthdays set.
