December 2019 PP Alternate 2

Paper Pumpkin alternate #2 GreenThumbStampers.com, inspired by a PP Fan Club sample one of my customers wanted to make.

Start with an old olive A2 card base
Fold in half (41/4")

Stamp your sentiment in the lower right corner of a 51/4 x 4 piece of whisper white, using old olive ink.

Adhere that to the card base.

Next you need a 13/4 x 4" piece of grapefruit grove and a 11/2 x 4 piece of old olive.

Adhere the olive to the grapefruit piece and set aside.

In your kit will be some sticker sheets with the flowers and leaves. You will want to cut out a strip of the leaves. Cut around them so the edges are curvy. Don't get too close, you want all the green coloring.

Pop out every other leaf (save for later use).

Cut a piece of the braided linen trim about 6 inches long.
Using your pick tool or point of your scissors carefully lift the sticker sheet in the middle area where the leaf is and weave the trim under. You want the stickers sheet to stay together so carefully lift just the area you need to push the trim under.
When it is done, glue down the ends of the trim to the back of the sticker sheet and then glue that to the old olive piece.

To finish it off put a few of the little flowers along the strip. You can put a jewel in the center of them, or a dot with the marker like I did.

Glue that to the whisper white and you are all set.
