May 2020 Paper Pumpkin - A Kit In Color - Green Thumb Stampers Alternate #1

This card uses a 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 piece of Misty Moonlight
a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Whisper White
Rainbow Builders dies
Daffodil delight scrap

The first step is to run the Misty Moonlight paper thru your die cutting machine using the small cloud die from the rainbow builders set. You will run it through twice since it isn't quite long enough. I tried to keep it tilted upward so it didn't cut too far down into the card. The second cut I just lined up as close to where the first one ended and did any trimming needed afterward.

The second step is to take some whisper white ink and sponge some clouds around on the Misty Moonlight paper. You can rip some paper to use as your cloud guide or make a template from the dies.

Next you will want to score the Misty Moonlinght paper at 2 3/4 and again at 5 1/2"

Fold those into the center and then fold that panel in half away from the center. It is going to be like a Z fold on each side.

You will want to cut out a cloud border from the Rainbow Builders dies. I used the puffier or bigger cloud border for this one. This piece starts out about 1 3/4 wide by 5 1/2 and the die will take some off the top.

Stamp a sentiment in the lower right of the cloud border

You can use the clouds from your kit here or use the dies to make two clouds and then you need a sun.
Layer the sun behind one of the clouds and then position the other cloud in there to make a cluster. Adhere this to the upper portion of the far right panel. Be careful not to put adhesive on the back where it will hand over past the far right panel or it wont fold right.

Stamp the "your'e amazing" on some scrap white and fussy cut it out. Pop that up in the center panel.

Using various ink colors, create a rainbow on scrap white and fussy cut that out.

Adhere the left side of the cloud border to the bottom of the first panel on the left side of the card. You will want to stick the rainbow here behind the cloud before you put it on.

I have mine coming over to the front of the clouds on the right side and the left side is behind the clouds.

To finish up you will fold the left side of the card into the center.

This should bring your cloud piece over so it is even with the far right panel and you can then adhere it to that panel.

This completes the card. You mail it like this, with one side folded in. It should fold either direction and be ok. The recipient will just give it a little push back toward center to get the card to stand up correctly.
