I created this card as an idea for my monthly Christmas card video.
This card uses an acetate base, but you can use just regular cardstock to make it too. You can view the video for this and the 3 other April alternates here:https://www.facebook.com/media/set?set=oa.132670673034939&type=3
This card uses mainly kit contents, except for the frame around the outside. You can use whatever you have, I used the Radiating Stitches dies from the online exclusives. View the videos here:https://www.facebook.com/media/set?set=oa.132670673034939&type=3
This card does some fussy cutting but it gives a lot of extra room to show off the background. It looks like a floating frame style card this way. You can view the videos on how to make the alternates for this kit here:https://www.facebook.com/media/set?set=oa.132670673034939&type=3
This is one of the alternates for the April kit. I used a new in color called Pebbled Path and some sparkly paper that was a sale a bration freebie awhile back. It looked like it is coming back in the new catalog so I thought I'd use it and show you a use for it!! View the videos here:https://www.facebook.com/media/set?set=oa.132670673034939&type=3
I pulled the set At the Races out of the closet for a fun birthday card for my friend Kaela. I also used the Happy Birthday die and double mounted it for a shadowed look.
The first think I thought of when I saw this card was to open up the cabinet door!! There is a paper added to the back of the card panel so you can stamp words inside the door. You could also just stamp right onto the inside of the card too, I added the kitty from Grace's Garden stamp set and created teh plant above the door.
